Attach and Send 500MB Sized Email With Driveaway

Friday, June 29, 2007

There are so many free emailing sites these days. Lots of them provide free usage of their space and we can send emails to our friends, family, colleagues, or whomever we want. With all those free stuffs comes limitations too. That's their policy and I agree to that too. To have those limitations cut out you would have to sign up for their premium or other options for which you would have to pay.

I am sure everyone has encountered the problem of sending an attach file to specific emails. For example, you have a photo album or a video clips of your tour and you want it to send to your friends and family. What you would do is go to the attach files and send the photos part by party. That is because they only allow us to send 10MB attachment per one email with most of the emailing sites. Even popular sites like hotmail and gmail has such limitations. Well you can send the photos part by part but what would you do with your videos? It will surely have more than 10MB size. So it seems like impossible to send one. Well as they say "nothing is impossible" and it is true. I have found a site for all of the guys from which you can send 500MB attachment per one email. Yeah it is all free too. It is Driveway - Online File Sharing site is a new free web based service for online file sharing. Driveway sends large files easily from your existing email system by simply creating URL links to files of sizes up to 500MB. The good thing about it is we can use the links even in our blogs or other sites. So next time if you have that problem of attaching more than 10MB size be sure to remember Driveway. It is just so simple to use. Find the location of your file in your hard drive, put your email address and the recipients email address and choose the file description and click on send files. You email gets delivered right away. Try it and you will know and soon enough anyone will like the service of this site. It is also stated that newer features including password protection, folder uploads, etc are expected in near future.
