How To Earn From Blogs? – Part I

Tuesday, June 05, 2007

I have been posting lots of blog posts lately. At first, I didn’t know that we can earn by these blog posts but one of my friends, Sameer, told me about earning from blogs. So now I am doing it for living. So far I have been enjoying it so much. You actually get paid for writing posts in your blog site and it is just so awesome.

Lately, lots of my friends have been asking me about the right procedure of applying in PayPerPost or other sites that has this program of getting paid while we blog. Funny thing is lots of them have tried on their own, but with lack of knowledge of the right procedure, all their work has been either incomplete or rejected. Lots of rules and regulations are there, and you have to look upon and take account of every rules written over there. If you follow the right steps, you won’t miss it, and it will be approved as soon as possible as I did. I got my ppp verification within 18-20 hours or less.

Among all of the paying sites, I love and prefer PayPerPost the most and I find it reliable too. I have referred to that site for all of my friends who love blogging and are trying to earn by blogging. So I am going to write this post in order to help out my friends and all the bloggers who are seeking advise or help for online blogging jobs. Here are some of the steps that you should follow as mentioned in payperpost.com:
  1. You should have a decent blog. It can be either your own domain or you can create it free in lots of free domains as subdomain. For eg. http://www.dauglydevil.com or http://dauglydevil.blogspot.com.
  2. You must be prepared to disclose your relationship with PayPerPost advertisers and advise your readers of any sponsored content via a a disclosure policy or on a per post basis.
  3. You must be 18 to participate or have written consent by a legal guardian. Please fill out and e-mail this form to support.
  4. All posts must be in English on a blog written in the English language.
  5. You must first submit a blog url for approval prior to submitting any blog posts for an opportunity.
  6. Your blog must also be at least 90 days old, verifiable by a third party index of the site.
  7. If over 90 days old, your blog must have at least 20 entries in the past 90 days. If just around 90 days old, your blog must have 20 pre-existing entries.
  8. No blogs with gaps over 30 days (no entries posted for 30+ days) will be accepted.
  9. The content of each post must be unique (paid and unpaid). You may not post the same thing on different blogs and you may not copy someone else's post (except when specified by the advertiser).
  10. We reserve the right to deny any post and cancel any account at any time at our sole discretion.
For more information visit payperpost.com.

After completion of the blog you should go to google webmaster tools and then verify your site and google will cache your site within some period of time.

After that you will be able to submit your blog to payperpost. You can then sign up and then after payperpost and then you will have to add your blog url and after your blog gets verified by payperpost, you will be able to go to the opportunity list tab and you will be able to find list of opportunities listed there. So now you are ready and are in the world of blogging and getting paid by payperpost. Just enjoy the opportunities listed and earn as you create blog posts.
