NBA Finals Tonight-Spurs Versus Cavalier
Thursday, June 07, 2007
Finally the season's final game of the greatest game of basketball in USA is here. Though things didn't turn out as I predicted, I would be definitely watching out for San Antonio Spurs to win a massive victory over Cleveland Cavaliers. I am not directly criticizing Cavs but I seriously think that Spurs gonna have it done this time, and it will be easy for Spurs.
Personally, I think Pistons defense is way to better than Cavs, and I truly believe "defense is the best offense." If you don't have your defensive part, you will never win the game. Lots of examples are there in the history of not only NBA but any other teamwork game. This is a game of team, and no single man can win the championship. I respect MJ the most but he too wouldn't have done it if there was no greatest players like Pipen, Stockton, Rodman, and other teammates behind his back to support him and help him both offensively and defensively. Likewise Indiana Pacers had Reggie Miller and he was the heart of that team and in the finals they didn't win because it was too one-man team, and this season it is Kobe with LA Lakers, same result; great player but no teamwork and no defense at all. So they lost. So this time Cavs are here. I have to give them a big round of applause for gaining this success and reaching to the finals. They were down to 2-0 in the league in the Eastern Conference, but they somehow beat the odds and are now here at the finals. But like they say, nothing is impossible, so it can be anybody's game in this final. Lets keep watching. I can't wait till today to watch the exciting first tip off of the NBA Finals 2007. I just love this game!
