American Fantasy Football League

Tuesday, July 17, 2007

Most of the people in east get confused when the topic football arises. Since the British English are still practiced in lots of the schools, whenever the world football comes, the people have this image that it is a game where there are 11 players each and when a striker scores the ball into the net through the goalkeeper it is called a goal and the winner is who strikes the most goal. Well that is different in America. American football is not played by the foot. It is carried in hands and the players run throughout the football court and then who ever crosses the opponents end of the territory it is called touchdown and there are various points for the field goals, and you hit the ball with the foot when you have a touchdown. Well it is a lot complicated than British football. British football is called soccer in America.

In America, lots of bets and competition in and outside the football game occurs. AFFL.com is one of the online site which allows us to place to form a fantasy football team and compete for huge pay-out prizes. The American Fantasy Football League is an elite, high-class venue in which to showcase your skills for a chance to win huge prizes. All you need is to go through an easy sign up form inside the site and then you are ready for the league. Then, five levels of play will be described in the following sections; they are Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze (short season), and Copper (free level). Participants are permitted to join multiple levels. All five levels will have a live, online draft. The AFFL uses a head to head regular season combined with points based playoffs to determine prize winners. You can also check out the Complete Prize Breakdown for 2007 season.
