Duncan And Parker Leading Spurs As The Next 2007 Champions
Tuesday, June 12, 2007
I might be quick at decision-making but this time I think my decision or prediction is surely going to be the reality. I was quite busy so I didn’t get the chance to write about the Spurs victory over Cavaliers. The first game was just so awesome. It was Parker and Duncan and who were running the show, and the second game, same thing again; Parker, Parker, and Parker. So if Parker continues this streak, Duncan pursue to become MVP this season might be jeopardized by Parker.Well he is small but quick and mostly he scores and steals. Yeah it’s Parker again whom I am talking about. Personally, I am a big fan of Tim Duncan, a three-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player, but lately Tony Parker has been so good that he might leave all his teammates behind and go to the victory by himself. I know one man cannot beat any team but with the help of his teammates he can. With all the help from the big and old players, Parker is helping his team go and win the championship this season. In Game 1 of best-of-seven championship series, Parker scored 27 points and made 7 assists. Duncan scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds to give the Spurs 1-0 lead and the final score was 85-76. In Game 2, Parker scored 30 points and Duncan scored 23 points and 9 rebounds and 8 assists to again give one more victory to Spurs and the final score again remained 103-92. Now the San Antonio Spurs are up with 2-0 lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
While Duncan and Parker were scoring and rebounding and assisting, LeBron James had pretty hard time scoring and making his moves, and this might have led their team lose those two games. The Cavaliers are having a bad losing streak. If this streak carries on my prediction for this season’s champions being Spurs will certainly become a reality and finally Spurs will be once again crowned as The NBA Champions for 2007.
